YAY LADY GAGA! Finally, Lady Gaga's third studio album births a genuinely awesome piece of art...pop. Get it...

The video for "G.U.Y." which stands for Girl Under You begins with a winged Lady Gaga lying in practically dead in a ditch with a gigantic arrow shot straight through her heart. We follow her as she moves slowly, painfully, in the direction of the Hearst Castle mansion in Los Angeles. She "dies" before she gets to the front door, but it's okay, because hot man-angels proceed to carry her by her arms into the mansion where the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills wear purple matching dresses and play banjos and nice butts are everywhere. It's a beautiful thing.

"G.U.Y." is the third single off Artpop, after "Applause" and "Do What U Want" featuring R. Kelly. In a Stylist Magazine interview Gaga did earlier this year, she explains the inspiration for writing G.U.Y. and it's pretty damn eloquent:

"Any kind of feminist has valid views for herself about what it means to be a feminist, but, as a new-age feminist, I would say I quite like the transference of strength I feel by submitting to a man – being under him. I actually wrote a song about it on my album, it’s called GUY and it stands for Go Under You. So wearing make-up, smelling delicious and having suckable, kissable, edible things between your limbs is something I find strengthening because I know that when I pick the right guy, I can let him have it. Some women feel oppressed by make-up and clothing, and here’s to them, they have every right to feel that way as well."

Word up! The video is eleven minutes long (it's not a music video, it's a Haus of Gaga film y'all) and also includes snippets of the songs "Artpop" and "Manicure." Both tracks appear on Artpop as well.

This video will only bring good things to Gaga, we hope. After the Born This Way Foundation's 2014 expenditure details caused some controversy, Gaga was definitely in need of some good press.

And what could possibly be better than artistic validation, am I right?
