Lady Gaga is living in the shoes of Liza Minnelli and Tony Bennett, literally. In a takeover of her super glamorous New York City abode, the pop diva let the cameras into her personal space on a rather intimate level.

"I'm not ready to be a true grown up yet," she joked to Sway Calloway. "I'll let you know when I make a purchase."

The "G.U.Y." chanteuse proceeded to lead the show host through her floral-print apartment and have some tea (on her Donatella Versace tea set). "We're just hanging out, getting ready for the show," Gaga added, noting her string of performances at the Roseland Ballroom, which is closing very, very soon.

Gaga also showed off her gorgeous balcony view of Central Park. "You just get to be in the moment," the recently 28-year-old singer said, basking in the scene. "The most important thing about this place is that I can come up here and see outside."

All day today, the powerhouse will take fans behind the scenes of her Roseland residency through programming on MTV, MTV Hits and Logo TV.

Earlier this week, she made a surprise appearance on David Letterman's Late Show. Donning bicker chic garb and a stylish '80s-inspired yellow wig, Gaga gave the audience quite a treat. "Hey what are you guys doing tonight? I have a show across the street and if you want to come over I'll bring you, and I'll bring the audience."

The crowd was then treated with a two-performance set.

Gaga's upcoming artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball kicks off in Florida on May 4 with dates throughout the summer and fall.
