Kim Kardashian Finally Gets the Vogue Cover She's Always Wanted

This April, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Hollywood's most talked-about couple, will grace the cover of Vogue Magazine. This will be Kim Kardashian's first time on the coveted cover of Vogue-- a dream of hers for a while. Kim broke the news earlier in a tweet:

"This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can't even breath!"

Kim Kardashian has been snubbed by the fashion world on various occasions: when Nicola Formichetti, celebrity stylist and Lady Gaga fashion collaborator, styled Kim for a spread in "Elle," Nicola admitted it was difficult to find fashion designers who would lend him clothes for Kim. Nobody wanted to dress her.

Similarly, after the 2012 Met Ball, Kim was cropped out of a 77-photo slideshow on Vogue.com, leaving Kanye as the only person captioned in the photo. This apparently was a request made by Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour herself.

There's a rumor going around saying that Kanye begged for the Vogue cover since it has been Kim's dream since she was a teenager, but Anna has put that rumor to rest in a press release:

"Part of the pleasure of editing Vogue, one that lies in a long tradition of this magazine, is being able to feature those who define the culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it. I think we can all agree on the fact that that role is currently being played by Kim and Kanye to a T. (Or perhaps that should be to a K?)... As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it."

On the cover Kim wears a wedding gown and Kanye hugs her from behind. Inside there are photos of Kim trying on wedding gowns with Kanye and their (admittedly adorable) baby North at their sides.
